Thirty-one years ago, my beautiful daughter Diana was murdered in San Diego. She was one of many young women that were murdered in the mid-1980s. Her case is unsolved, and for years, my emotions were all over the place. I was left with feelings of despair, helplessness, and hopelessness because I was not getting answers to my daughter's unsolved murder. For 38 years, I pushed for answers I desperately needed, but were never given. I was left without hope. Doors were continually shut before me, and I found the case was not thoroughly investigated. My strength was crumbling.
​In 2016, Investigator Vanessa Ferraro walked into my life. What a blessing. She began her investigation with dignity, compassion, and vigor. She opened doors that I was never able to enter, and she pursued avenues I never thought of. Investigator Ferraro spent hours investigating my daughter's case. She will never give up the pursuit of finding the truth. I would highly recommend her because of her ethics, strength, and the pursuit of answers.
